This project will facilitate regional economic development in rural parts of Emery and San Juan counties through better access to low cost energy while opening market share for San Juan, Duchesne, and Uintah Counties.

Project Benefits

Provides lowest cost natural gas, oil and CO2 transportation between the Uinta Basin and the San Juan Basin for higher price natural gas sales point, lower cost refining opportunities, increased CO2 market share, and access to larger regional energy and commodity markets.

Reduces emissions associated with truck and rail transportation.

Promotes regional economic development in rural parts of Emery and San Juan counties through better access to low cost energy while opening market share for San Juan, Duchesne and Uintah Counties through the connected Carbon to Duchesne Pipeline Corridor.

The Seven County Infrastructure Coalition is a public implementation and ownership entity that allows its members to build essential regional infrastructure elements that span across county lines. The Coalition’s main roles are to identify revenue-producing infrastructure assets that will benefit the region. Its mission is to plan infrastructure corridors, procure funding, permit, design, secure rights-of-way and own such facilities.
