Project Location

The Ridge Road project consists of approximately 7.5 miles of reconstruction road work along ridge road between UT-10 south of Price to US-6 East of Wellington.

Project Need

This project will reduce truck traffic in residential areas throughout Carbon county. It will provide interconnection of existing rail facilities for coal and crude oil transportation. It will also reduce cost of CO2 transportation from the existing CO2 plant.

Priority Project: Ridge Road Reconstruction

The Seven County Infrastructure Coalition is a public implementation and ownership entity that allows its members to build essential regional infrastructure elements that span across county lines. The Coalition’s main roles are to identify revenue-producing infrastructure assets that will benefit the region. Its mission is to plan infrastructure corridors, procure funding, permit, design, secure rights-of-way and own such facilities.
