Daggett County Broadband
Priority Project of the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition
This pipeline corridor would connect the Farnham Dome reserve in Carbon and Emery Counties to Duchesne and Uintah Counties.
No existing telecom service provider fiber extends into Daggett County to the public schools and communities. UEN’s digital microwave system provides reliable bandwidth for education but is not a long-term scalable solution for communities impacted.
When completed, there has been interest in expansion to neighboring counties in Colorado.
This project would provide broadband internet connectivity into Daggett to Manila and Dutch John.
Increasing capacity and speed would increase business opportunities and productivity throughout the county. Improving the network capacity and reliability has been a high priority for the County. Without this project, loss of equitable access, economic development, telemedicine and healthcare and government services would impact the community.
